Three straight district titles. Rebuilding season? Hardly. Northeast Baseball is simply reloading. The team shut out Clearwater Wednesday, 11-0. Pitch Lucas Smith pitched a complete game shut out. The team is now 11-4 on the season and more importantly, 6-1 in the district. Earlier in the week, the offensive bats were on fire again as The Vikings defeated Lakewood 15-5.

Not only have the bats exploded for Northeast, but the pitching this season has been stellar. The team ERA is only 2.21.  That showed in last week’s district matchup with Mitchell, in which the team only gave up one run.

With the district tournament on the horizon, the boys could be peaking at the right time to win a fourth district title in a row.
